SHERM SACK'S CANCER
This event takes place every February in Columbus, Ohio at T.T. Murph's. This President's Day Weekend Event was started for our first recipient Paul "Sherm" Sackett. Paul attended Capital University in Columbus, OH where he was a member of the football team and teammate of Mandy's brother Tommy. This is a gathering where former Capital University Alumni and former athletes and friends get together for a good cause. We have helped several alumni and will continue to do so. There is a raffle, 50/50 raffle, DJ, plenty to drink and great food such as the best pizza in Columbus, OH.
The Amanda Watkins Dunn Memorial Fund was established to help those that have fallen on hard times. Mandy had several organizations that helped her through her fight such as the Jeffery G. Hoeh Memorial Fund, S3C Foundation, Fight For The Girls and the Pink Ribbon Girls. It was through these foundations that gave us the motivation to pay it forward.
The AWD raised over $300,000 for families in which every dollar is paid out to those in need. We did this without a corporate sponsor as well. In order to make these events a huge success, we need your help. If you have any items, passes or gift cards that you are willing to donate for our raffles, we would greatly appreciate it.
If you are interested in any of of sponsorship levels or have a general donation or gift for the silent and major auctions, please reach out or email awdmemorialfund@gmail.com. We are more than happy to come get it or you can mail it to our contact address. We are happy to help these families in their time of need while keeping Amanda’s memory alive. AWD & BOBBI WEDDLE MEMORIAL VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT
This event takes place every August at the Knights of Columbus and Knotty Pine Rock and Tiki Bar in honor of Bobbi Weddle. Bobbi was one of the owners and cancer survivor. This our largest event as we have competitive and co-ed 6's, a junior and kids division. We have a volleyball tournament, raffle, 50/50 raffle, DJ and kids activities.
AWD HALLOWEEN DANCE/MANDY'S BIRTHDAY PARTY
This Halloween dance is in celebration of Mandy's birthday. The event takes place on Saturday October 25th, 2025 at Willow Event Center located at 7881 Colerain Avenue Cincinnati, OH 45239 from 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. The cost is $50 per person or $100 per couple. This includes a DJ, pop, beer, wine, well liquor and heavy appetizers. Hold on to your ticket stub as you will also get admission into the after party at The Knotty Pine Tiki & Rock Bar.
This event starts Friday August 15th at 5:45p.m and continues on Saturday August 16th all day at the Knights of Columbus 3144 Blue Rock Road Cincinnati, OH 45239. This event is in memory of Bobbi Weddle who passed away suddenly and Amanda Watkins Dunn.

AWD HALLOWEEN DANCE/MANDY'S BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
Mandy's birthday was October 14th. We will be hosting a Halloween Costume Dance every year in her honor during her birthday weekend. This year's dance is Saturday, October 28th, 2023. Come dressed to impress with your best costume on. This is a 21 and over event. There will be a DJ, drinks included and heavy appetizers.
